Separate a keepsake from an advertising use
Write down where the picture will appear before you name a price.
Personal use and a campaign are different jobs. Artists lose money when the email says 'just a few posts' and the contract says 'all media.' A checklist will not replace a lawyer. It will stop you from skipping the question.

Claude
Lists the questions that separate a keepsake from a campaign. Not a contract.
Google Docs
Where you keep the usage paragraph you actually send.
How to do it
- 1
Ask where it will be seen
Guest keeps the paper. Host posts one photo. Company prints the face on a cup. Those are three sentences. Ask Claude to turn a client's muddy email into those sentences, without adding rights.
- 2
Match each sentence to a choice
Included, extra fee you set, or no. Write the choice in Google Docs next to the sentence. Do not let the draft pick 'industry standard.'
- 3
Put the paragraph in the quote
The quote email from the other workflow includes this paragraph. If they need more reach later, that is a new line, not a favor.
- 4
For anything large, ask a lawyer
A campaign, a product, or a contract longer than a page is past this checklist. Use the plain-language reading workflow and then a qualified person.
