Price a workshop from the costs
List every cost, including prep, and choose a price the sheet can survive. No magic number.
A workshop price is a seat times a fee, minus the room and the hours you do not see. The spreadsheet is the tool. The model is a nag.

The arithmetic. Hours, room, materials, and the fee you type in yourself.

Asks whether a cost is missing. It does not name the price.
How to do it
- 1
List costs in a sheet
Room, materials, platform fees if you looked them up, transport, and hours of prep, teaching, and cleanup. Use your real numbers. Leave a cell blank rather than a guess you will forget.
- 2
Ask what you forgot
Describe the list to Claude without asking for a price. Typical misses: insurance, a helper, reprints of the handout, the hour you spend answering mail.
- 3
Try two seat counts
In the sheet, see what each seat must cover if the room is half full and if it is full. You pick the fee that you can say out loud.
- 4
Write the price once
The page, the flyer, and the email use that number. If you change it, change all three.
