Ask before you photograph a class

A plain question, a stored answer, and no student work in a public generator.

Workshops produce faces and drawings that are not your content by default. A form is how you stop guessing.

Tools

Affiliate links are switched off. The buttons below go to official sites, not paid links. Affiliate disclosure

  • Google Forms

A simple yes/no form you can link before the class.

  • Tally

Another form, light enough for one consent question.

  • Google Drive

Where the answers and the photos stay together.

  • Claude

Drafts the question in plain language. You decide the promise.

How to do it

  1. 1

    Write the actual uses

Will you post faces, hands only, the room, the drawings? Separate questions. Ask Claude to make the sentences shorter, then check that you did not widen the permission.

  2. 2

    Send it before the day

Google Forms or Tally, linked from the workshop page. A paper checkbox at the door works too. Silence on the day is not a yes.

  3. 3

File the answer with the photo

Keep exports in Google Drive next to the images. If someone said no, those frames do not leave the folder, and they do not go to an upscaler or a video model.

  4. 4

Say it again in the room

Tell the class what you will and will not photograph. Offer a seat outside the frame.
