Make a flyer people can read from a step away
Your name, the class, the date, and a QR to the real page, in type that survives the drawing.
The flyer is not a second artwork that happens to contain information. The information is the point. The drawing supports it.

Canva
Poster layout, a QR code, and export to a print size.
WebAIM Contrast Checker
Measures whether the date is actually readable on the art.
How to do it
- 1
Put the facts in first
In Canva, set the title, the date, the place, and your name before you decorate. If a fact is unset, use a line that says the date will be announced, or do not print yet.
- 2
Add a QR you tested
Point it at the Carrd, Lu.ma, or Eventbrite page. Scan it. A code that opens the wrong language is a broken door.
- 3
Check contrast
Use the WebAIM checker on the type and the color behind it. Move text onto a flat block if the drawing is busy.
- 4
Print one and pin it
Look at it on a wall, not on the laptop. Fix the thing you cannot read. Then print the run.
