See what an upscaler invented
Put a creative upscale next to a plain one before you send anything to print.
Magnific is built to add detail. That is useful for a rough study and risky for a finished ink drawing, where the new pores and paper grain were never drawn.

Magnific
A creative upscaler that can add detail and texture that were not in the file.
Upscayl
The calmer comparison: a local enlarge without a prompt for new texture.
How to do it
- 1
Make two copies
One goes through Upscayl or a plain scale. One goes through Magnific, if you choose to use it. The original stays untouched.
- 2
Overlay them
In your editor, stack the results and flip the top layer on and off. Look at skin, lettering, and empty backgrounds.
- 3
Name the invention
If you keep the Magnific version, write in the filename or the delivery note that detail was added. Do not describe it as a higher-resolution scan of the same marks.
- 4
Ask the printer with the honest file
If the shop needs size, send the version whose marks you still claim. A prettier texture is not automatically the picture.
