Thumbnail a story from beats you approve
Let a model propose a beat list, then draw the frames small and fast yourself.
Story is a sequence of decisions. A model can suggest order. The pictures, the acting, and what you refuse to show are yours.

Claude
Helps list beats from a story you already know. You draw the frames.
Milanote
A board for the thumbnails, notes, and references in one place.
PureRef
The local alternative when the board should not live in a browser.
How to do it
- 1
Write the constraint
Who, where, and how many frames. Eight boxes is a start. Say what must not happen.
- 2
Ask for beats, then cut
Ask Claude for a beat list in plain sentences. Delete beats that explain instead of show. Number the ones you keep.
- 3
Draw tiny
On paper or in Milanote or PureRef, one small frame per beat. Stick figures are fine. Do not generate the frames and trace them.
- 4
Read it without words
If a friend cannot follow the frames, the list was doing the work the pictures should do. Redraw those boxes.
