Move a still only if the drawing survives
Send your own illustration to an image-to-video tool, then reject any frame that lies.
A little motion can show a print or a character on a social post. These models change the picture while they move it. The review is the work.

Runway
Image-to-video. Expect the picture to drift. Watch every second.
Luma
Another image-and-video generator. Same rule: your still goes in, you review what comes out.
Kling AI
Image-to-video with the same failure modes: hands, faces, and type.
Pika
Video tools that can move a still. Review the clip before you post it.
How to do it
- 1
Choose a still with no tiny type
Lettering and fine patterns break first. Crop a version without words if the words do not need to move.
- 2
Prompt the motion, not a new drawing
Ask for a small action: a blink, paper shifting, a slow push-in. Name the tool you are using — Runway, Luma, Kling, or Pika — and follow its current image-to-video control. Do not ask it to restyle the art.
- 3
Watch at full length
Pause on hands, eyes, and the outline. If the face becomes a different person, or a line doubles, do not post that clip as the artwork.
- 4
Say what it is
In the caption, it is a moving study or a clip made from the drawing, if that is true. It is not 'the process' unless you recorded the process.
