Draft a case study from notes you took

Give a model the brief, the constraint, and what you decided. Publish only the sentences you still mean.

A case study is a record. Adobe Portfolio, Cargo, Format, and Behance are shelves. The writing has to survive being read by the client.

Tools

Affiliate links are switched off. The buttons below go to official sites, not paid links. Affiliate disclosure

  • Claude

Shapes sentences from facts you supply. It does not supply the facts.

  • Adobe Portfolio

A portfolio site tied to Adobe's tools.

  • Cargo

A portfolio builder with a visual, editorial bent.

  • Format

Another portfolio host aimed at photographers and artists.

  • Behance

A public project page. Anything you post there is public.

How to do it

  1. 1

    List facts

Client or personal, the ask, the limit, what you tried, what you shipped. If you cannot name a fact, leave a blank. Do not ask the model to fill it.

  2. 2

    Ask for a short draft

Give Claude the list and a length. Ask for plain sentences. Tell it to mark anything it was not given.

  3. 3

    Edit out the costume

Delete 'passionate,' delete invented metrics, delete a client's name if the work is not public. Read it aloud.

  4. 4

    Put it on the shelf

Paste the edited text into the portfolio tool you actually use. Upload the images you have the right to show.
