Draw an expression sheet from a mirror
Get a list of faces to practice, then draw each one from your own face.
Caricature is a stack of decisions about the mouth, the eyes, and where the weight of the head sits. A list keeps the practice honest. A generated face sheet teaches you the model's habits.

Claude
Lists expressions for you to draw. It does not draw them.
PureRef
Holds the expression sheet while you design a character or warm up for a gig.
How to do it
- 1
Ask for a list, not pictures
Ask Claude for twelve expressions a live caricaturist actually uses: listening, laughing with teeth, skeptical, mid-sentence, looking at a phone. Ask it not to describe a celebrity.
- 2
Pick eight
You will not draw twelve well in one sitting. Circle eight. Leave a box under each name on a paper page.
- 3
Draw from the mirror
Make the expression yourself and draw it in two minutes. If you need a photo, it is a photo of you, for this sheet, kept in PureRef.
- 4
Mark what you force
Note the feature you always enlarge. That note is the point of the sheet. It is more useful than another generated grin.
